Encaustic Cloud Houses

I became fascinated by encaustic art some years ago, which is an ancient technique using hot beeswax and damar tree resin to create painted pr embellished pieces. I love the milky exterior created by the heated wax, which can be polished to a smooth sheen. But then I got hooked on cold wax and oil, and I had not created any encaustic pieces in a long time. I happily refreshed my skills in an encaustic workshop and got the idea to create a series of "cloud houses." These are the first three. I'm in love~
